hello for real

getting this working locally on my laptop was pretty easy, the hard part was getting nginx to play nice. As it turns out, the main issue was some bad code I wrote, I put \n\r instead of \r\n, a thing which nginx cares very deeply about. As I write this, I'm sat in my room sweating because it got up to I think 30c here and sadly I am not made for temperatures like that. I'm happy I could get this all working in an afternoon, the heat always makes it hard to think and I had awful sleep yesterday too.
In more exciting news than the weather, me and my beloved have the keys to our shared house for uni next year! I don't think irls and online friends know where it is, I'm sure irls will come to hear about it soon enough. I only move in during early September, but I cannot wait for that day to come.
Maybe this blog will stay around, maybe it wont. I guess we will just have to see :)
